This is the fifth year of the Liger Learning Center, and my first Exploration was the Iron Defiency. Well most people in the world didn’t know the advantages of iron in our body and some of them didn’t know how to get those iron. Before I talk about the iron, I first want to introduce to you about the red blood cell (RBC). One fuciton of the RBC is to carry the oxigen (O2) to our body. So if we don’t have enough RBC in our body, that means we didn’t have enough RBC, and this means that we don’t get enough O2. To solve that issue we need to eat more green vegetable and red blood meat. There is one company that manufacture the product that we put in our soup or water, and it will give you more iron in the food and that company name Lucky Iron Fish.
So my facilitator Karen, made an Exploraiton about the anemia to help to advertise the Lucky Iron Fish to the Cambodain at Sem Reap to distribute the fish to the villagers at there. At that event, my team the iron deficiency Exploration made a presentation to introduce the fish to them, by making a acting presentation. At the end of Sharation the Lucky Iron Fish company gave each of us a Lucky Iron Fish. I really love this Exploration, and the reason is it helps me in science class a lot.
